Carolina Nino is a graphic artist known for her eclectic, abstract design style.
She uses various digital techniques to create pieces with strong visual impact.
Her projects have included many commissions for alternative electronic music events and record labels.
Having worked closely with peers within the electronic music scene, she has become recognised for her surrealist and dynamic compositions.
Born in Colombia, traveler by nature, Carolina has lived in several countries including Spain, Guatemala, Brazil and currently living in Argentina. She felt the need to create from a very early age, and was surrounded by nature, art and music all her life, and that inspired her to follow this artistic path.
Encouraged by her family, Carolina always trusted her vocation without doubt, as part of her nature and her strength of character, she always had full support, since Carolina comes from a very artistic family, but most importantly was that she always trusted her intuition.
Studied graphic design in Guatemala City, studied photography in Spain and attended several creative workshops in Brazil and Argentina.
Carolina lead several workshops focused on creativity and different ways of maximising creative output.
She created a law to itself, as an ethical principle when she began to experiment with different styles of design. According to Carolina, “The space between one object and another is more important than the object itself-in this way we realise visual harmony.”
Carolina finds inspiration in everything, in the wisdom and mystery of nature, in people’s minds, in the collective consciousness, due to the mutual impulse to create and become better beings, finds great inspiration in the mysteries of outer space, the stars and the moon, in animals, because they are beautiful beings and they teach us something new every day. She finds great inspiration in moments of sadness and joy. Music inspired her because it is a global language and of course she’s inspired by love.
